Dormitory proposal for the students of TTU College of Architecture El Paso.
The relationship between the flexible and the static and how they affect one another is the main design exploration. The site is a space of high activity including trains, night life and constant sirens. The spatial configuration and building envelope act as a filter from the outside world.
Apart from the conceptual process, this project provides a balance of representation, programming and detailing.
